Most records made here are only ever heard by the person they were made for. That is the default, and nothing changes it except you.
Every record is private from the moment it exists. If you want one person to hear it, you send them a link, and you can take that link back whenever you like.
Tagged audio files, the cover, the lyrics and the liner notes, in one download. Put it on a phone, a drive, a USB stick in a card. It does not only live here.
Give Muso a voice note, a hummed tune or an old recording to build around and it goes to a private, access-controlled store. We use it to compose your album and for nothing else, and we never make it public.

Your shelf sits at orto.band/@you: the records you decided to put out, with their artwork and their runtimes. A portfolio, not a profile.
Someone can start their own commission from a record you published. When they do, both records carry the line between them, so you can see what came from what.
Every record is read against the house rules before it becomes public. Anything the check stops waits for a person to look at it, not for a timer.
There is no feed, no follower count and no ratings, and none are planned. A record here is not competing with anything. The house rules say what can be published and who decides.
